| Position Title: | Transport Driver – Source One Transportation/Guttman Oil | | Department: | Source One Transportation, LLC | | Reports To: | Transportation Manager | | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | | | | Position Summary: | | To safely transport and deliver gasoline and distillates by diesel powered tractor/trailer combination to customer locations with below or above ground tanks. | | | | Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties: | | | Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment - Conduct before, during, and after operation inspection of tractor/trailer combination
- Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment for serviceability
- Conduct minor repair of worn fuel delivery equipment
- Ensure all unit and product document are present and comply with current DOT and HAZMAT regulations
| Safely operate a fuel delivery tractor/trailer combination - Adhere to fuel loading terminal operating instructions and emergency procedures
- Safely operate a tractor/trailer combination complying with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations
- Safely operate a tractor/trailer combination in an urban and rural environment and in all weather conditions
| Load and unload a fuel delivery transport - Comply with all terminal loading procedures
- Determine before and after delivery tank measurements checking for water and other contamination
- Adhere to Source One procedures for loading and unloading a fuel delivery unit
- Employ customer service skills that is consistent with Source One customer relations policy
- Safely operate unit pump system to deliver fuel products into above ground tanks
| Operate the On-Board computer system - Effectively use on-board system to maintain driver logs and trip information
- Use on-board system to prepare customer bills of lading (BOL)
- Accurately provide assessorial information onto BOL
- Provide DOT with required information during inspections and stops
